Make a Difference As part of our pharmacy residency team, you will develop practice skill through an intense one-year learning experience. As pharmacy resident you will assure that medications, supplies, and drug information are furnished to the customer in an accurate and timely way in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards. You will also review and evaluate drug regimens, which include the medication profile, in order to identify issues that require pharmacy intervention or monitoring. You will engage in a range of activities to facilitate leadership. In addition, there is an emphasis on developing teaching skills to be used for educating patients, students, pharmacist and other healthcare providers. Following the experience, the resident should have a person philosophy of practice, a systematic method for monitoring their performance and a demonstrated commitment to the profession.

Requirements

  • Must be accepted into the Community Health Network Pharmacy Residency Program
  • You have earned a Doctorate Degree from an accredited pharmacy program
  • You will obtain an Indiana Pharmacist License within two (2) months
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Basic Life Support (CPR/BLS)
  • You are able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • You can adapt and learn quickly
  • You have good communication skills
