Position Summary The post-graduate pharmacy year one (PGY-1) Resident will complete a 1-year accredited residency with intensive experiences in Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) processes, formulary and utilization management programs, and interactions with both patients and clients.

Requirements

  • You must have applied to this specific program in PhORCAS to be considered for this position
  • PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
  • Pharmacist licensure in the state of Texas within 90 days of hire date

Nice To Haves

  • Background in community pharmacy practice with interest in organizational leadership
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Professionalism and maturity
  • Ability to travel to clinical sites, training programs, and professional meetings
  • CVS Health internship or rotation experience
