About The Position

As an Intern at Centene, you will have the opportunity to change everything for our 28 million members during this 12-week program. You will learn about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time. This intern will learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business. You will support various project management activities under the Pharmacy Business Transformation Office.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period
• Project experience from either work, school, or extracurricular activities
• Customer focused experience, strong communicator
• Self-Starter / Driven
• Problem solving / Critical Thinking
• Detail Oriented / Organized
• Presentation development

Responsibilities

• Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry
• Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects
• Research various topics within functional area and industry
• Manage projects, deliverables/tasks, meetings, and create presentations/present as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all policies and standards
