As the Rural Health Pharmacy Program Manager, you will lead efforts to improve access to post-discharge medications for patients in rural Indiana. You will work with hospitals, pharmacies, Pharmacy Benefits Managers, and community health partners to design and implement medication access programs that reduce readmission rates and improve continuity of care. This role requires deep pharmacy or clinical operations knowledge, the ability to synthesize policy and analytics into actionable recommendations, and strong relationships with diverse healthcare stakeholders. You will manage program budgets, track performance metrics, and present progress to leadership and CMS reporting bodies.

Requirements

  • Medical or pharmacy-related degree, or degree in public health, health science, health policy, or related field
  • Clinical background and experience working in pharmacy, hospital, primary healthcare, ambulatory, or community healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM), Pharmacy Services Administration Organizations (PSAOs), and point-of-sale pharmacy systems
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to synthesize analytics into cohesive policy recommendations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present to large and diverse audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agency staff, hospital administrators, and other stakeholders
