Join a collaborative Home Care Pharmacy team focused on supporting patients through highly specialized medications and exceptional service. As a Pharmacy Material Coordinator – Home Care, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, receiving and processing products through the warehouse and inventory system, confirming delivery tickets, supporting daily warehouse operations and working closely with the delivery team to ensure timely and accurate distribution. This role requires the ability to lift, push and pull heavy boxes and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment at an off-site location with free parking and a shared commitment to patient care and teamwork. A caregiver in this position will work Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm with occasional weekend and holiday requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or high school diploma/GED and three years of experience in a similar role
  • Work history of using a computer.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
  • Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy is required within 6 months upon hire
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • May need to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system and, in some locations, off-site
  • Must have own transportation due to travel to multiple sites.
  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous supplies are maintained with little or no interruption.
  • Implement, manage, and maintain inventory systems to order, control, expedite, and inventory supplies to enhance the fiscal management of the department.
  • Monitor reports and available publications for insight into shortages and determine appropriate substitute items.
  • Provide information to technicians while carrying out inventory control function.
  • Maintain the proper and appropriate professional and ethical relationship with vendor representatives and conduct business according to established principles and guidelines.
