About The Position

UW Health is seeking an experienced and visionary Pharmacy Manager - Oncology to lead our rapidly expanding oncology pharmacy service line and support the complex, high acuity needs of cancer patients across our system. This leader will play a critical role in ensuring clinical excellence, operational stability, and financial stewardship for one of the most strategically important areas of our organization. We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager – Oncology to: Provide enterprise level leadership for oncology pharmacy services across all UW Health–Wisconsin locations. Ensure safe, evidence based, and efficient medication use for both adult and pediatric oncology patients while supporting the operational, quality, and accreditation needs of Wisconsin’s only Comprehensive Cancer Center. Lead oncology drug cost containment strategies, including evidence based medicine initiatives, biosimilar optimization, drug budget forecasting, and resource efficient medication management. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy. Required
• Completion of an ASHP PGY2 pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or five (5) years of relevant work experience. Required
• Licensed as a pharmacist in Wisconsin or must obtain within 90 days of hire date. Required
• BLS required or must be obtained within 90 days. Required

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business or other relevant subject area. Preferred
• Pharm D degree. Preferred
• Three years of health-system pharmacy leadership or management experience. Preferred
• Certification through the appropriate certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties, National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers, Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board, etc.). Preferred
