And each of us is responsible for honoring our commitment to excellence, pushing the boundaries and transforming the patient experience, every day. We all have the power to help, heal and change lives — beginning with our own. That’s the power of the Cleveland Clinic Health System team, and The Power of Every One. Serving the needs of Garfield Heights and the Southeast communities of Cuyahoga County, Marymount Hospital is an acute care, faith-based hospital. Here, caregivers are guided by the Christian values of service, compassion, dignity and respect and live by the mission of providing world-class healthcare. As a part of our team, you will build a rewarding, lifelong career in a diverse and welcoming environment. The Pharmacy Intern role is based on the first floor of Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital, a community-focused hospital with a unique patient population and a strong behavioral health presence, offering valuable exposure to psychiatric medications and personalized patient care. The pharmacy team includes approximately 36 caregivers, and the intern works closely with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, nurses, providers, patients, and occasionally respiratory therapy, within a collaborative environment where learning opportunities are constant and relationships are easily built. Interns also assist with clinical activities such as patient education, medication histories, and medication list reconciliation, with opportunities to participate in care planning and other advanced responsibilities based on comfort level, making this an ideal role for pharmacy students seeking hands-on experience in a supportive, team-oriented setting.
