About The Position

Basic Function Responsible for assisting retail pharmacy customers with pharmaceutical and/or over-the-counter merchandise needs, questions and concerns within established corporate guidelines. Duties Verify and prepare prescriptions accurately for customer pick-up. General knowledge of insurance plans, coverage and requirements. Assist with daily duties of customer service process to insure smooth operation of the customer service department. Assist the delivery technicians with delivery questions. Assist with distribution of over-the-counter merchandise. Assist with maintenance of the over-the-counter shelving to present a neat, professional image. Promptly assist customers with products and services. Provide quality customer service to the customer. Promptly answer multi-line telephone. General knowledge of all company products, services and locations. Act in a professional manner at all times to customers and other employees. Interact as needed with other departments and locations regarding products and services. Operate standard office equipment including: photocopy machine computer/printer multi-line telephone Keep work areas neat and clean. Comply with HIPAA policies and procedures. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
