St. Mary's Medical Center is looking for a Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor.
Requirements
Degree from approved College of Pharmacy and hold a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.
Licensed to practice pharmacy in West Virginia.
Should possess experience that allows the individual to effectively interact and positively relate to members of the medical, nursing and pharmacy staffs.
Type accurately and with moderate speed.
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly appearance at all times.
Maintain a calm attitude and mature outlook in moments of stress.
Have a strong personal ethics and impeccable professional conduct.
Possess strong personal interrelationship skills, exceptional communication and organizational skills and a high tolerance level.
Nice To Haves
Membership in professional organizations is desirable.
A residency or fellowship is desired.
Responsibilities
Coordinates all clinical aspects of pharmacy service including, but not limited to:
Drug therapy monitoring
Pharmacokinetic dosing
Formulary management
Medication use evaluation (MUE)
Clinical Performance improvement (PI) program
Staff and patient educational programs
Assisting with the monitoring of adverse drug reactions and medication incident reporting
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
