About The Position

TAS Drug of Maiden is seeking a dependable, outgoing and energetic pharmacy cashier to work part-time, with availability during all of our business hours. If you learn quickly, work accurately, and have a strong work ethic, we invite you to apply. Eager to learn new skills? If so, you'll advance within the company to become a Pharmacy Technician. With our on-the-job training, there's nothing to stop you from achieving PTCB Pharmacy Technician certification! If you are a certified or experienced pharmacy tech looking for a better work environment, send us your resume; we are also open to hiring skilled Pharmacy Technicians (wage negotiable). After point-of-sale skills are mastered, pharmacy technician training will begin Our recruiting process is conducted via Indeed and other digital platforms. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a clear background check & drug screen
Must type at least 40 words-per-minute
Must be able to work quickly & accurately
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be dependable
Must have neat and professional appearance
Must be available to work a varied schedule that will include evenings and one to two Saturdays per month (we are closed on Sunday!)
PTCB Certification required within 18 months of hire

Responsibilities

Ring out processed prescriptions that are ready for pick up at the point-of-sale
Bag prescriptions in the appropriate manner for customer pick up at a later time
Intake new prescriptions from walk-in and drive through customers
Answer phone as workflow permits
Assist customers on the sales floor
Maintain priority of prescriptions for data entry in the appropriate order
