About The Position

Responsible for the entire purchasing function as it relates to the acquisition and maintenance of Pharmacy stocks and supplies. Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory par levels and coordinating physical inventory of department. Assist department in Pharmacy Technician functions as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma Required.
Pharmacy Tech License required
The individual must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Basic computer skills required.
Two (2) or more years Pharmacy buyer experience.
Ability to interface effectively with personnel at a variety of levels.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain tact and composure under stress.
Maintain working relationship with all vendors, customers, and coworkers.
Pharmacy Technician Certification required
Ability to effectively communicate (Verbally and in writing) in English.
Ability to write legibly (Clinical Areas).
Must clear background and drug test required.

Nice To Haves

Completion of formal training course as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable.
Previous experience in Hospital or community Pharmacy is highly desirable.
Additional languages desirable.
