Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist to join our evening team! Role Overview: Serve as a fully integrated member of the Pharmacy Department to provide advanced clinical pharmacy services. Responsible for reviewing and processing inpatient non-chemotherapy and chemotherapy orders. Will be rotating into many areas within the hospital including, Main Pharmacy, UCC, PEDS, ICU, M18, and OPD Have a good understanding of inpatient operations and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

  • PharmD (or equivalent) required.
  • A valid NY State Pharmacist license required.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to develop a good understanding of pharmacy systems.
  • Highly motivated and able to work well with others in a demanding environment.
  • Detail orientated with a mind set to improve patient safety and maintain cleanroom sterility.
  • Able to make sound judgments, even in the absence of complete information, without unnecessary escalation and excessive planning.
  • Someone with excellent communication skills who is supportive of new ideas and other’s beliefs.
  • Someone who has a strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience (preferred)
  • IV compounding experience with sterile preparations (preferred)
  • Omnicell experience (preferred)

Responsibilities
