Requirements

• B.S. and current unrestricted NY state Pharmacist license are required.
• Doctorate in Pharmacy also considered.
• 3-5 years experience in a managed care environment, including experience related to prescription drug benefit administration.
• Knowledge of pharmacy cost and utilization profiling, coding, PBM contract implementation and oversight as well as strong communication and informatics skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Prescription Drug Benefit program.
• Key responsibilities include contract oversight, formulary management, pharmacy benefit development, benefit interpretation, profiling of cost and utilization plan data, provider relations and implementation of programmatic initiatives.
