About The Position
The Pharmacist dispenses medications ensuring that the right drug, the right dose, the right directions, the right refills, the right doctor, and the right precautions are indicated on each prescription label. The Pharmacist is an important information resource to patients, providers, and staff and interacts in a courteous, professional manner at all times. The Pharmacist maintains appropriate documentation and meets all state and federal standards. Oncology/infusion center experience/interest preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Pharm D degree.
- Experience with computer systems.
- Pharmacist license awarded by the State of Wisconsin or eligibility for Wisconsin pharmacist licensure that must be obtained within three months of hire.
- Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of third party reimbursement plans.
- Experience in a specialty pharmacy based position.
- Board certification through the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties within two years’ of hire.
