Pharmacist - Lead
About The Position
Serves as the legal Pharmacist-in-Charge and coordinates pharmacy operations at assigned site. Provides pharmacy services to our customers. Reviews medication orders issued by authorized prescribers for accuracy and appropriateness. Reviews and interprets patient data bases for medication therapy related problems. Develops a therapeutic plan and communicates the plan to appropriate provider and/or health care team member. Works with pharmacy technicians to provide accurate and timely distribution of medications which may include critical, high expense medications, chemotherapy, controlled substances and hazardous pharmaceutical substances. Is a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff, and ancillary department personnel. Works collaboratively with health system colleagues. Encouraged to be a Pharmacy resident preceptor and a student mentor for pharmacy students. This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/ we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position.
