About The Position

PharmcareUSA in West Chester, OH is seeking a Part Time Pharmacist Intern PharmcareUSA is a growing, privately operated National LTC pharmacy provider operated by pharmacists. PharmcareUSA is a national, closed-door, long-term care pharmacy business with locations in multiple states. We are privately owned and continue to grow each year, providing daily medication deliveries and consulting services to nursing and assisted living facilities as well as hospice residents. We are passionate about what we do and are looking for staff with the same attitude. We strive to take care of our own staff as well as the customers we serve.

Requirements

• Comply with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations at all times
• Maintain required Continuing Education credits
• Maintain current licensing by the state(s) in which he/she practices

Responsibilities

• Will train with Pharmacist with inputting (when appropriate), filling and dispensing of all prescriptions.
• Will strive to perform all filling and / or IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy and reasonable speed.
• Filling of prescriptions per rules and regulations of all regulatory entities.
• Assist callers when appropriate or enlist Pharmacist to assist if appropriate.
• Prepare medications to be delivered to facility per delivery schedule.
• Assist with ordering of medications from wholesaler along with proper inventory management
• Assist with Medication Returns and E-Kit management.
• Will comply with all Corporate Initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
