Pharmcare USA is seeking a Hybrid Pharmacist/Consultant to join our clinical team in the greater ST. Louis, MO area. We are seeking a full-time Pharmacist/Consultant Pharmacist who possesses a deep passion for patient care and clinical medication management. Requirements

  • Licensed by the state(s) in which they practice.
  • Knowledgeable about the legal responsibilities of the consultant pharmacist to the nursing facility and its residents, including all state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services and the operation of nursing facilities.
  • Maintain minimum required continuing education hours established by state board of pharmacy.
  • Mix of remote and on-site work
  • Travel to and from facilities within your state is required for on-site days. (Overnight stays are not typically required.)
  • Flexible schedule with ability to help determine your schedule.
  • Must be able to travel to locations
  • Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copy machines and printers up to 100% of the time
  • Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person
  • Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others
  • This position will require standing & walking; may occasionally require bending, kneeling, and stooping
  • Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time
  • Must be able to tolerate normal office environment and exposure to various medications
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
