Now hiring a Pharmaceutical Liaison for our residential facility in Indianapolis, IN! Avenues Recovery Center at Covington is a residential facility offering drug and alcohol detoxification and inpatient rehabilitation services. Merging highly individualized, targeted treatment plans with compassionate and respectful care, here you'll discover a truly unique treatment experience. Avenues Covington is staffed by a round- the clock team of seasoned doctors, nurses, psychiatric specialists, addiction counselors and behavioral health technicians, as well as CNAs to provide constant support with Assisted Daily Living Services. Our team utilizes an array of evidence - based therapy modalities - including CBT, DBT. EMDR, MAT and Motivational Interviewing - to achieve the best possible outcomes for every client. Avenues' new facility is spacious, inviting and fully wheelchair - accessible, providing the serene and soothing environment so conducive to recovery. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred
  • Industry-related experience preferred
  • If in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety required
  • Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
  • Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
  • Dignified character that models recovery principles

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for medication orders and pharmacy communications
  • Ensure all clients receive their medications on time, tracking refills and addressing any delays.
  • Obtain and document prescription information, including approvals, denials, and prior authorizations and notate on shift reports and in EMR
  • Facilitate communication between the prescriber, pharmacy and the patient
  • Ensure patient medication educational needs are met and documented by authorized personnel
  • Collaborate with Utilization Review and billing departments to mitigate financial barriers
