About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join the Global Sales & Marketing (GS&M) Advanced Mobility Surveillance and Bombers Capture team in Saint Louis, MO. This role will specifically focus on Future Technology Programs and requires a deep understanding of USAF mobility and air refueling missions and employment processes to support the development and understanding future capabilities and requirements. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 10+ years of experience working with the US Department of Defense (DoD)
  • 10+ years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry
  • 5+ years of leadership or project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience with COCOM or USAF MAJCOM to include Joint Mission Planning and Execution, Operations and Long-Range Planning roles
  • This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing special program access clearance(s)
  • 3+ years of experience working with USAF Weapons School in decision-making position
  • 3+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining customer relationships
  • 3+ years of experience developing tailored DoD products to include new business strategies for Advanced Mobility requirements and capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Manages employees and mid-level managers planning, developing and managing sales and marketing campaign
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, may provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers
  • Exhibits and leads team members with Boeing’s Values and Behaviors in all aspects of performance
