Responsibilities

Responsible for the following monthly reporting – Power Plant Water Usage and Consumption, Chemistry Scorecards
Collaborates with ISC for contracts and RFP, RFQ processes
Lead troubleshooting and decision making for fleet assets regarding chemistry
Uses skills in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues
Applies a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering and technical complexities
Determines and organizes program and project objectives and requirements
Develops standards and guidelines for diverse technical and engineering activities
Manage documentation and currency of Service Requests, Work Orders, and MOCs in Maximo
Actively participate in efforts to improve productivity and advance fleet reliability
Support parts planning and annual budget planning
Lead a team of chemistry technicians
Manage all remote monitoring tags in PI and utilize all tools available for visualization and trending regarding water chemistry
Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with key staff, regulatory agencies, external /internal auditors, and officials of other organizations / companies.

In depth understanding of power plant chemistry, chemical treatment of plant systems and analytical chemistry
Utilization of quality tools for continuous improvements of laboratory analytical methods.
Online Analyzer troubleshooting and Repair
Knowledgeable on environmental and regulatory requirements for powerplants permits
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
