This position can be located at any of our WEC Energy Group power generation or renewable locations in Wisconsin. This is a job family (PG Associate Business Analyst, PG Business Analyst, PG Senior Business Analyst) where experience is the determining factor. Job Summary The PG Business Process Analyst will be responsible for conducting research, gathering and analyzing data and providing insights to support decision-making processes. The PG Business Process Analyst will work alongside senior business analysts to assist in development, implementation and optimization of business processes to encourage maximum efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Requirements

  • Associate PG Business Process Analyst: an entry level analyst position where prior PG or process experience is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline. In lieu of degree, 5 years' experience in business environment
  • PG Business Process Analyst: requires 3 years of experience in business or data analytics or related field. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, economics, finance, information system technology, communications); In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years' experience in business environment
  • Senior PG Business Process Analyst: requires 5 years of experience in business or data analytics or related field. Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., business administration, economics, finance, information system technology, communications); In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years' experience in business environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather, organize and analyze large amounts of data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Visio
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing new initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Conduct research and gather data from a variety of sources, including customer feedback, market trends and internal data systems
  • Document current process and workflow using process mapping techniques
  • Assist with development and configuration of applications and processes
  • Gather data to identify patterns and trends, and provide insights that inform business decisions.
  • Validate effectiveness of business initiatives and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring they receive exceptional customer service and support
  • Collaborate with other members of the business team to identify areas of improvement and develop solutions
  • Perform activities contributing to the integration of software solutions, business workflows, and training programs to propel WEC Energy Group to a cleaner energy future.
