About The Position

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PET Tech. This position requires on-site work at multiple locations throughout the Denver metro area and is eligible for mileage reimbursement in accordance with company policy. Requirements

Associate's or Bachelors degree in nuclear medicine technology from an AMA accredited program.
Minimum three to five years experience in nuclear medicine and/or previous PET experience.
CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure where applicable.
All qualified candidates are required to pass a background check and non-federal drug test (which excludes marijuana) post offer of employment and prior to hire.
Candidates will be required to show proof of being vaccinated against influenza upon commencing employment. Reasonable accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis for exemptions to this requirement in accordance with applicable law.

Nice To Haves

PET Technologist with (ARRT) (R) (N) (CT) or NMTCB (CT) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Performs PET scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, setup of protocol, reconstruction and development of images, coordination of image on report function and archiving of images.
Assist in scheduling procedures and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.
