About The Position

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PET Tech. This position requires on-site work at multiple locations throughout the Denver metro area and is eligible for mileage reimbursement in accordance with company policy. Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in nuclear medicine technology from an AMA accredited program.
  • Minimum three to five years experience in nuclear medicine and/or previous PET experience.
  • CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure where applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • PET Technologist with (ARRT) (R) (N) (CT) or NMTCB (CT) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Performs PET scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, setup of protocol, reconstruction and development of images, coordination of image on report function and archiving of images.
  • Assist in scheduling procedures and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.
  • Collects clinical data for patient follow-up and development of teaching and educational information.
