Pet & Livestock Sales Associate [FNR]

Jax is a family-owned local business that prides itself on providing exceptional customer service to our customers wanting the best for their animals, whether it be on a farm or ranch or in a cozy home. Product training, pro-deals, and our employee discount mean you can try out items in order to increase your knowledge and provide expert opinions to our customers. Our Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers, providing honest and informative answers to questions, fostering enthusiasm in our brands, making suggestions about products that customers might want, and performing necessary tasks for efficient department operation. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, assisting the Department Manager, and providing customer feedback to Department Managers and the Buyers Team so our stores remain stocked with only the best products our customers have come to expect from JAX.
Requirements
- Our ideal candidate has prior customer service experience, and is willing to pitch-in where needed.
- An interest in horses, livestock, animals or the farm and ranch lifestyle is essential
- Cashiering experience desired
- Computer proficiency required
- Works well with others
- Organizational skills
- Engaging and positive
- Attention to detail
- Flexible schedules are available, but all employees must be available at least one weekend day
Nice To Haves
- Previous knowledge or experience with products carried by JAX preferred
Responsibilities
- Accurately processing payments
