About The Position

As Pet Caretaker at Mars, you will work in a team environment to provide daily care and management for the pets. What are we looking for? Experience interacting with dogs and cats. Knowledge of animal health and management issues is preferred experience with basic grooming and training is preferred Ability to work in all weather conditions. What will be your key responsibilities? Performing animal behavior and obedience training following the Mars Standards, including implementing behavior modification plans, training for research activities, and support for rehoming. Implementing environmental enrichment, exercise, socialization and grooming programs in accordance with standard operating procedures. Evaluating pet health (both mental and physical) for any veterinary and/or enrichment needs Assisting the Health Care Team in treatment and research collections as needed.
