Pet Care Attendant
About The Position
Yorktown Animal Hospital, located in Yorktown Heights, NY, offers preventative care, sick care, surgery, advanced imaging, boarding, bathing, and more. We see all kinds of pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits, ferrets, birds, turtles, snakes, and various other pocket pets. We are looking for a full-time kennel assistant with flexible availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays. Experience working in a kennel is preferred but not required. Requirements
- Critical thinking, curiosity, and a can-do attitude
- Reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills
- A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets
- A sense of fun, teamwork, smiles, and readiness to laugh
