Requirements

  • Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors, even when the weather is not perfect
  • Must be able to walk large dogs (50 lbs+)
  • Ability to handle a variety of breeds and sizes, from tiny house cats and Chihuahuas to big Great Danes with confidence
  • While an animal care background is desired, a deep love for pets and a willingness to learn will go a long way.
  • Must be flexible and available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, school breaks and holidays; including before, day of, and the days after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and Spring Break

Responsibilities

  • Exercising and engaging with dogs
  • Monitoring canine health and behavior for any changes
  • Observing cats for any signs they've mastered world domination (or just ensuring they're content and healthy)
  • Maintaining a clean environment because pets love a good, tidy space just as much as we do
