About The Position

This open competitive advertisement is for an OPS (Other Personal Services) position located at the Central Office in Human Resources – Certification & Compliance (ATMS). The mission of the Personnel Technician III on the ATMS team is to ensure the integrity and accuracy of personnel records for sworn officers by efficiently managing bi-weekly separation records, supporting audit processes, and updating employment information. This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

Requirements

  • Must possess a High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Must possess at least 1-year of clerical and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain bi-weekly separation records for sworn officers in ATMS, including tracking separation codes and completion dates.
  • Support FDLE’s bi-annual New Hire Audit by providing required employee information and maintaining audit-related documentation.
  • Assist with registering sworn officers and updating employment records in ATMS, including separations, certifications, name changes, education updates, and new hire processing.
  • Provide intermediate technical and administrative support to management using multiple HR and criminal justice systems such as People First, SharePoint, FCIC/NCIC, ATMS, and SimpliGov.
  • Maintain accurate and organized personnel records, ensure data integrity across HR systems, and perform additional duties as required in alignment with regulatory responsibilities and departmental reentry support expectations.
