The Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as a Personnel Benefits & Transition Coordinator. Responsibilities include performing duties relating to personnel transitions, such as onboarding and offboarding, and administering programs offering benefits to state employees. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who has a strong knowledge of the Personnel Code and Rules, Pay Plan and collective bargaining agreements and is dedicated to ensuring compliance with federal regulations as pertains to human resources. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience working closely with management and new hires during employee onboarding and providing advice related to benefits such as health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, flexible spending plans, State Retirement System benefits and deferred compensation.
