Requirements

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good client communications skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask with accuracy
  • Must be detail-oriented, accurate, dependable and a self-starter
  • Ability to use independent judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality
  • Good analytical skills
  • Basic working knowledge of investments and banking is helpful
  • Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job

Responsibilities

  • Assist Personal Trust Administrators
  • Assist with client phone calls
  • Greet clients and staff as they enter the office
  • Process receipts and distributions as instructed
  • Opening and closing accounts on the trust accounting system
  • Assist with maintenance of accounts on the trust accounting system
  • Prepare client review reports
  • Scan trust information to electronic archive
  • Assist customers while Trust Administrators are out or unavailable
  • Foster positive customer/client relations
  • Responsible for electronic document retention and filing
  • Assist with special projects
  • Primary initial point of contact for customers, in person and over phone
  • Other job related duties as assigned
