Applicants beyond fifty (50) miles may still be considered.Job SummaryWe are currently hiring for the below three roles within our Personal Lines State Management Team. Sr. Product Analyst: Responsible for obtaining, evaluating, and communicating information that supports revenue growth and profitability. Recommends strategies for improving results and market position. Product Analyst II: Responsible for obtaining and evaluating information that supports revenue growth and profitability. Analyzes information using data correlation, and statistical analysis. Product Analyst I: Creates and manages personal lines insurance programs; assists in the coordination of all phases of new product introduction and product maintenance. Candidate qualifications will be reviewed against the requirements for the associated levels of this job families core function's.

Requirements

  • Sr. Product Analyst: 3 years experience in similar role or one year in Product Analyst II role.
  • Product Analyst II: 2 years of related experience or 1.5 years in Product Analyst I role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Technical skills with platforms such as SAS, SQL, Excel, PowerBI preferred.
  • Strong Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) spreadsheets and databases; other tools such as SQL, PowerBI, SAS preferred.
  • Word and basic programming for statistical purposes for the Sr. Product Analyst level role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including ability to make effective presentations and for the Sr. Product Analyst role ability to write articles publishable in trade magazines.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong relationship building.

Responsibilities

  • Sr. Product Analyst: Analyzes information using data correlation, and statistical analysis.
  • Develops data and information structure.
  • Creates and modifies computer programs to extract information from company databases.
  • Prepares state indications and other analyses of loss experience, retention, and expense data.
  • Suggests enhancements to standard methodologies.
  • Performs primary field research, including customer, distribution, competitor, insurance department, and market surveys.
  • Works with State Offices to support rate proposal and marketing plan development.
  • Identifies market segments and develops specialized pricing approaches.
  • Prepares exhibits for state filings and responds to requests from regulators for additional data.
  • Provides detailed requirements for systems implementation projects.
  • Measures and monitors performance of states, initiatives, and identified segments.
  • Facilitates through other parts of the organization to accomplish results.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Product Analyst II: Analyzes information using data manipulation, correlation, and statistical analysis.
  • Modifies computer programs to extract information from company databases.
  • Prepares state indications and other analyses of loss experience, retention, and expense data.
  • Responsible for development of data and information structure.
  • Performs primary field research, including customer, distribution, competitor, insurance department, and market surveys.
  • Identifies market segments and develops specialized pricing approaches.
  • Measures and monitors performance of states, initiatives, and identified segments
  • Facilitates through other parts of the organization to accomplish results.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Product Analyst I: Maintains contact with State Offices and Personal Lines Marketing to benefit product development activities.
  • Analyzes, researches and creates new personal lines insurance products which are likely to be implemented territory-wide.
  • Coordinates development and implementation of new personal lines insurance products with other functional departments; chairs coordinating meetings where assigned.
  • Initiates preparation and publication of procedure bulletins, field bulletins and marketing kits regarding the introduction of new products.
  • Follows up regularly with other functional departments, Agents/District Managers, State Offices and Service Centers to verify that new products have been implemented correctly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
