Personal Lines Account Manager Account Managers are primarily responsible for servicing policies (new and renewal) for personal customers of Cross Insurance, while creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, underwriters and other professionals. Duties of an Account Manager include but are not limited to: Maintain a Property & Casualty license along with keeping up with Continuing Education Understanding and following the Cross Basic Procedure Manual Understanding and following the Personal Lines Workflow Manual Making sure the correct Action Codes are being used Meet sales goal Suspense’s need to be followed up and taken care of on a daily basis Service and sell personal insurance products to prospective and existing clients Gather underwriting, pricing, and support data for preparation of quotes/proposals Establish and maintain good working relationships with company sales representatives, service center, and underwriting and claim representatives Provide quality customer service to existing accounts. Proactively retain accounts, following up on Broker of record letters Maintain familiarity with trends in the industry and new insurance products Understand and analyze insurance coverage, forms and policies Strong written, oral and phone communication skills Organize, set and maintain priorities Working knowledge/experience with an agency management system, Microsoft Word, Outlook and agency rating system. Take payment and note activity Upload Payments various company websites Perform other duties as assigned. Required Job Skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of social media platforms. Proven experience selling. Strong customer service skills and communication skills (both verbal and written). Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
