About The Position

This position is responsible for managing a Personal Lines book of business with professional, detailed, accurate, and courteous service. The Account Manager will continue to develop and develop their insurance expertise. Essential Functions Directly responsible for the daily service requirements including, but not limited to: The marketing and renewal process for existing and new clients includes gathering data, preparing submissions, and communicating with the insurance carriers. Creating and presenting proposals, including comparing forms and providing analysis to clients and coworkers Binding coverage with carriers and following up to ensure the proper coverage was issued Creating and maintaining applications, evidence of insurance, and other client data Processing policies, change requests/ endorsements, and all other items related to the service of accounts Maintaining the client's file, including documentation, and creating follow-ups Communicating and assisting clients, vendors, and coworkers with information and servicing the Agency's accounts Communicate any questions, training needs, or assistance with assigned tasks with the supervisor. Complete all other essential functions as assigned. Complete tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Three years of Account Manager experience is required
  • An active Property & Casualty Insurance license is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Outlook, Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AMS360 and ImageRight Management Systems is preferred.

  • Complete all other essential functions as assigned.
