About The Position

Human Touch Home Care is a locally operated company in the Colorado area dedicated to helping clients live healthful and fulfilling lives at home. The company values its employees like family. They are seeking a Personal Care Worker (PCW) to join their team. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided for this role.

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and other documents
Requires personal transportation
Valid state issued driver's license
Good driving record
Auto insurance as required by law
Must be able to quickly learn specific software and new applications

Nice To Haves

Some experience working with elderly and frail

Responsibilities

Provide unskilled personal care services and homemaking services to the company's patients
Attends to any unskilled personal care services that the consumer requires using the Rules and Regulations document provided by the Company
Accompany or drive patients to physician/clinics
Provide assistance or stand by assistance with bathing, skin care, hair care, toileting, dressing, shaving, nail care, mouth care, etc.
Perform housekeeping tasks as directed
Make bed, change and launder linens
Wash dishes, prepare meals and grocery shop
Clean stove, kitchen, bathroom, and only the consumers living area and bedroom
Vacuum, sweep, dust, take out trash, run errands as needed, mop floors (make sure floor is dry before leaving)
Advises staffing director of requests which cannot be met or of conditions which are unsafe
Is dependable to consumers and Company in both providing and documenting services on time sheets
