About The Position

Personal Care Provider, Assisted Living Provide personal care to residents. This includes providing medications and treatments, preparing and serving meals, performing housekeeping duties, assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living and assisting with the activities program. Education : High school diploma or equalivent is required. Experience : Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. On the job training is provided. Licenses/Certification: Must succesfully complete the Qualified Medication Administration Person training. (Provided) Must have and maintain a valid/current Colorado Drivers License. Essential Functions: Perform housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes and dishes and running errands. Assisting with or prompting resident to perform Activities of Daily Living, for example, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, etc. Providing reminders for meal times, activities, appointments, etc. Performing health-care related tasks such as taking blood pressure and oxygen levels Providing transportation to doctor's appointments or Assisted Living outings. Carrying out duties associated with the Activities Program Administers medication as ordered after obtaining Qualified Medication Assistance Person certification Preparing and maintaining records of client progress and services performed, and reporting any changes in client condition to manager or supervisor. Provides care as directed according to residents' physical, psychosocial and cultural needs. Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00/hr, depending on experience. Physical Requirements Occasionally (0-33%) – Standing, sitting, change position, reaching, reach across midline, handling, pinching, crouching/squatting, stooping, kneeling, lifting/lowering (0-50 lbs), carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (0-20 lbs) Frequently (34 – 66%) - walking Continuously (37 -100%) See with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistance There is no deadline to apply for this position; we are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until a finalist is selected.
