About The Position

The Personal Care Attendant (PCA) provides compassionate and dignified care to residents, guiding them through their daily activities. This role involves building positive connections with residents and their families, engaging in continuous learning through educational seminars and staff meetings, and strictly adhering to confidentiality and privacy regulations regarding resident information. The PCA is also expected to perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate and dignified care while guiding residents through their activities of daily living
• Connects with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engages in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Complies with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Performs any other duties as assigned
