Job Summary We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide essential support and meaningful companionship to clients in their homes. Full-time and part-time positions are available. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the client's quality of life by assisting with personal care, household tasks, and providing much-needed social engagement.

Requirements

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma, G.E.D preferred, or any other relevant certification.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Routine Support: Assist with "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene.
  • Meal Support: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
  • Provide medication reminders as directed.
  • Home Management: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
  • Community Access: Provide transportation for grocery shopping, errands, and medical appointments. and social outings.
  • Social Engagement: Offer meaningful companionship, engaging clients in conversation, reading, recreational activities.
  • Safety: Monitor the home environment for fall risks and assist with safe transfers (e.g., from bed to chair).
  • Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or office staff.
  • Tailored Care Plans: Follow individualized care plans accurately and efficiently.
