Requirements

A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Ability to follow a written Care Plan and document daily activities.
A strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High School Diploma, or GED preferred, or any relevant certification.

Responsibilities

ADLs, such as dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene.
Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
Provide medication reminders as directed.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
Provide transportation for grocery shopping, errands, and medical appointments and social outings.
Offer meaningful companionship, engaging clients in conversation, reading, recreational activities.
Monitor the home environment for fall risks and assist with safe transfers (e.g., from bed to chair).
Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or office staff.
Follow individualized care plans accurately and efficiently.
