About The Position

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to our clients in
Fowlerville, MI. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, helping to improve their quality of life and promote independence.

Requirements

• Prior experience in personal care or related field preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and patient with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assist with physical tasks and mobility needs.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job location.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the care supervisor.
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain confidentiality at all times.
