Requirements
- Caring, patient, and dependable
- Good communicator who follows instructions and care plans
- Comfortable working independently in a client’s home
- Can read, write, and speak English
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or PCA course
- 6+ months caregiving experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a Homemaker Companion or in a similar role
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Current and valid driver’s license, with the ability to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with applicable laws
Responsibilities
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Assist with mobility, walking, and daily exercises
- Support meals, eating, and light meal prep
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, sweeping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms)
- Document care and report updates to your supervisor
