Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course. Interpersonal relations abilities. Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job. WORKING ENVIRONMENT Primarily works in client’s place of residence; travel may be required. Shift times and days vary with client needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or PCA course
  • 6+ months caregiving experience preferred
  • Caring, patient, and dependable
  • Good communicator who follows instructions and care plans

  • Can read, write, and speak English
