What You’ll Do As a Certified Nurse Asst., you will provide support with everyday activities and help clients maintain their independence at home. Your day may include: Personal Care Helping with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene Assisting with dressing and daily routines Helping clients safely move around their home Assisting with bathroom needs Helping with meals and feeding if needed Daily Support Preparing simple meals Assisting with walking or mobility using walkers, canes, or wheelchairs Supporting light exercises or range of motion activities Monitoring basic health information like vital signs (if trained) Light Housekeeping Laundry Dishes Sweeping or vacuuming Dusting Cleaning bathrooms Keeping the home safe and tidy for the client Care Documentation Recording the care you provide during your shift Communicating with the office or supervisor if there are concerns What We’re Looking For Great caregivers usually have: A caring and compassionate personality Reliability and strong work ethic Good communication skills The ability to follow a care plan and instructions A desire to help people live safely in their own homes Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or Certified Nurse Asst. program preferred At least 6 months caregiving experience in a home or healthcare setting preferred Ability to read, write, and speak English Work Schedule Work takes place in clients’ homes Flexible shifts available based on client needs Some travel between clients may be required Why Caregivers Love Working With Us Flexible schedules Supportive office team Meaningful work helping others Opportunities to build strong relationships with clients If you enjoy helping people and want to make a real difference in someone’s day, we would love to meet you. Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course.
