Alera Group is looking for a Personal & Business Insurance Specialist. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; alternatively, 4+ years of insurance industry experience (agency or carrier) or an equivalent combination of education and experience, ideally with a sales background
• Advanced degrees or insurance designations are a plus; state-specific Property & Casualty insurance license and a valid driver’s license required
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and oversee a book of business

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a high-quality pipeline by networking, developing Centers of Influence, generating referrals, and cold calling, while maintaining accurate client and prospect information
• Strengthen long-term client relationships through regular communication, coverage reviews, proactive retention strategies, and negotiating with carriers to optimize policy outcomes
• Manage workload and sales goals effectively while continuously developing technical and sales skills through a personalized improvement plan
