As part of our event setup crew, you will be responsible for preparing venues by arranging furniture, setting up stages, audio-visual equipment, decorations, and ensuring that all materials are in place before the event begins. Requirements
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in event setup or related roles is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment and event logistics is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Unload and transport event equipment, furniture, and materials to the designated venue areas.
- Assemble and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other structures according to event layouts.
- Set up audio-visual equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and lighting.
- Decorate event spaces with banners, signage, flowers, and other decorative elements as specified.
- Ensure that all safety guidelines and venue regulations are followed during setup.
