Work with the director of the Perry Homes Foundation to design, plan, organize and execute an employee volunteer event. The intern will ensure all logistics, communication, safety considerations, and day-of event operations run smoothly to deliver a meaningful and well-organized volunteer experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; current enrollment in University required.
  • You must be able to work 10 hours a week.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage a timeline for all actions and logistics prior to the bvolunteer date
  • Communicating with the selected nonprofit organization, PH departments (if needed), participating employee volunteers and the director to provide clear instructions, event details, FAQs, schedules, and any required pre-event training or documentation needed
  • Determine all equipment, tools, materials, and personal protective equipment needed for volunteers on the day of the event
  • Conduct post-event follow up including improvement for future events and assist with recaps and photos
