The Permitting Analyst is responsible for executing end-to-end permitting services for energy and infrastructure projects, including oil and gas, renewables, and related facilities and linear infrastructure. The role supports assigned projects from intake through approval, including preparation of permit applications and supporting documentation, coordination of internal inputs, and agency submittal follow-through. The Permitting Analyst maintains accurate status and timeline visibility for Project Managers and clients, supports routine agency coordination and deficiency responses, and ensures permit deliverables are accurate, complete, and agency-ready. The Permitting Analyst coordinates permitting work across internal teams (Project Management, Survey, Engineering, GIS) and external stakeholders (clients, agencies, and vendors) to ensure submittals align with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Typical scopes include county and municipal permits, state oil and gas commission filings (e.g., ECMC, TX RRC, WOGCC, NMOCD), and federal permitting (e.g., BLM ROW/APD), along with permit condition tracking and compliance support through post-approval reporting and closeout as assigned.
