About The Position

The Permit Coordinator supports the key operation of the business and our shows. The right candidate is an initiative taker with an exceptional ability to be thorough, pay attention to details, and adept at multi-tasking. The right candidate is not fazed by unexpected challenges and possesses a “Can-Do” attitude . This role is essential to making our shows happen for our clients.

Requirements

2 years of customer service, clerical or administrative experience in an office environment
Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Calm and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Above-average computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to multi-task and adjust to pivoting priorities is a must
Weekend or evening work when required – whatever it takes to get the job done!
High School diploma required, and some college is preferred

Nice To Haves

Experience in the Entertainment Industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Applying for Laser, Pyrotechnic, Flame, and Co2 permits with city, state, federal and international agencies for individual shows, tours, and one-time events.
Completing application paperwork and communicating with agency offices, often on a very tight timeline
Communicating with local Fire Departments and agencies
Hiring locally licensed professionals who are required to be present for certain special effects (i.e., pyrotechnics, lasers, or flames)
