About The Position

Permit Coordinator Project Resources Group is currently searching for a Permitting Coordinator in the Lakewood, CO market. Candidates will be responsible for the oversight, submission, and successful approval of all OSP Permit Design packages, covering all permits associated with a multitude of work scopes. Key Responsibilities Review, coordinate, process, and verify compliance with rules, regulations, and legal requirements applicable for all permits required from approving agencies for the placement and installation of fiber optic cable networks. Prepare and submit all required permit applications and associated documents to approving agencies. Make payments to respective permitting departments with proper documentation. Be the key link into cities and jurisdictions. Tracks projects by maintaining organized records, monitoring progress, and providing updates. Build meaningful, long-term relationships for this market. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of related permitting experience within the telecom industry.
  • Working knowledge of Sheets and other Google Workspace programs, along with AutoCAD and 3-GIS.
  • Customer service acumen to interpret, communicate, and help deliver client needs.
  • Impressive ability to organize and prioritize projects.
  • Interested and able to work overtime occasionally to meet project demands.
  • Must be able to walk extensively, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate and write effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
