About The Position
Permanent Building Substitute Teacher Vision: The Winchester Public Schools graduate will be able to succeed in the career of his or her choice, having the requisite academic skills in reading, math, writing and technology developed from pre-school to high school graduation in caring teaming environments with dedicated faculty and staff. The graduate will possess excellent communication skills (oral and written), and those skills will be used in the work world or college setting. The graduate will have the interpersonal skills required by 21st Century Standards and the technological expertise to perform well in the community. Description: The Winchester Public Schools seeks a permanent substitute teacher for our, Hinsdale School (Grades PK-2). Job Summary: The qualified candidates will instruct general education classrooms by lesson plans left by the teacher; assist the Principal, and coaches for students as assigned.
Requirements
- HS diploma, BA or BS
- Valid Driver's License
- Must pass federal and local background checks.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must complete all pre-employment requirements before the start date.
Responsibilities
