The Permanency Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Permanency, MDT and Family Finding teams to ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This role involves managing resources, coordinating teams, and implementing processes to achieve optimal performance across all operational areas.

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functionality across departments.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and legal regulations.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments to control costs and optimize resource utilization.
  • Lead and mentor staff to ensure high performance and engagement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in operations or management roles
  • Fully certified Child Welfare Professional, in good standing with the Florida Certification Board required
  • Must possess the ability to identify and resolve barriers to achieving permanency for children and families, employing a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • A strong understanding of the Conditions for Return is essential to support permanency efforts and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • The role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess individual cases and develop actionable plans that address unique challenges.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are critical for collaborating with teams, stakeholders, and families.
  • Additionally, the Permanency Manager must demonstrate cultural competence, empathy, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations while maintaining a focus on achieving timely and sustainable permanency outcomes.
  • Proficiency in case management systems, data analysis, and operational tools is also necessary for monitoring progress and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coaching and mentoring capabilities are also vital for developing team members and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
